B.O.T.S. and the Robofriends is a twin-stick arcade-style action game set in the year 2083. The story follows TOM, a young robot who is thrown into battle when his home is attacked by hordes of mindless robots called G.A.R.D. units. The attackers are looking for a super computer called MOTHER, which is supposedly hidden somewhere within the mega corporation known as Innovation Robotics. In his desperation to feel ready for an upcoming assessment, TOM is looking for his mother. Are this MOTHER's computer and your own MOTHER the same? Does he have a mother? With the help of teammates BRI, RED and STU, TOM and the others must fight G.A.R.D. and find the location of the MOTHER computer. As the Bots research Innovation Robotics, they find and rescue helpful robots called Robofriends. Even though they're not built for battle, Robofriends spring into action when rescued by Bots. Robofriends offer unique ways to help you against invading enemies. From healing your Bot, to protecting it with a bubble shield or even blasting your enemies with fire! Play alone or with friends, choosing one of four robot characters with unique attributes and attacks. Utilize upgradeable skills in battle for fast-paced combat, consuming a resource called Scrap to perform powerful skills.
