IntroductionInvasion Machine is a mix of a sandbox manager and RTS. Your goal is to command troops in an occupied province in an effort to bring back peace and order. Kill your enemies, help the civilian population, preserve resources and the lives of your own soldiers. The scenario What led to our recent occupation of this land is still at the center of a heated political debate. What followed the invasion was the worst-case scenario we could have imagined – we hoped we would be able to instill better leadership and let this country rebuild itself. But that's not what happened. Our overthrow of the local government has created a power vacuum in the area – which is now rapidly leading to an unprecedented rise of new powers – the drug traffickers, known locally as guerrillas. If we don't stop this transformation, the entire country will explode. We weren't preparing for this kind of situation, and it seems like this is the last moment we can still change things. You, as commander of this Peace Force, are tasked with restoring order and preparing the ground for a new, legitimate government. MissionIf we want to leave this land, we must first win the hearts and minds of the local people. The locals think we've ruined their lives and, frankly, most of them hate us. To earn their trust – we need to do everything we can to eliminate the criminal element, neutralize the remaining opposition and provide humanitarian aid to them. The real mission Politicians lead wars and politicians only care about one thing: being re-elected. In other words – your real job as a commander is to make this war look good to the people back home. Don't kill your soldiers, don't lose too much equipment, and most importantly, don't let the press see anything that might contradict the official story. And the official story? Obviously, we are winning. The campaign was divided into eight chapters. The game takes you through the entire story of the invasion, starting right after the main battle of the war ends. At first, you are only given a handful of old, abandoned troops and equipment. Unarmored, soft-shell carriers on the front line? Checks. Forest camouflage in a desert country? Checks. The army was not really prepared for a long invasion, and yours is just one of many missions in this conflict. So, if you want better resources – you will have to prove to your superiors that you are worth it. The campaign ends as soon as you manage to secure your province and hold elections. When a new government can be trusted to take the country by storm, we have finally come home. What will you do in the game? This means saving the wounded and using tactical advantage whenever possible. Your units are not mindless robots – they kill their friends and can go on a frenzy. Hurt them and they will start to bleed quickly. Your enemy doesn't have a satellite overview of the battlefield like you do. To combat your forces, they first need to find out where you are. This means that the AI ​​will send its own reconnaissance missions – and if the scouts find high-value targets – they will report the findings and demand larger operations. If the enemy's presence is strong in the province, they will start cooperating with them instead of helping you. Although inspired by real wars fought over the past decade, this game depicts a completely fictional conflict and is not an attempt at social commentary. .
