Kerbal Space Program: Breaking Ground Expansion is the second expansion for the PC version of the acclaimed space flight simulator Kerbal Space Program. This content-packed expansion focuses on increasing the possibilities of objectives after arriving on a celestial body, adding more scientific endeavors and expanding tool options. After landing on a celestial body, a series of data collection equipment can be used to conduct scientific experiments. New surface formations are scattered across the solar system, and players will need to find them to scan them or take them to Kerbin for closer analysis. Plus, we're adding robotic parts! Joint, piston, rotor and rotating servomotor of various sizes will be available to profoundly change the possibilities for players. All of these parts operate with realistic physics, with real torque and forces, electricity consumption and even motor mass. Science used: Scientific experiments have always gone hand in hand with space exploration and now they receive even greater attention at KSP. Players will be able to use a storage module on their ships that can carry various scientific equipment. Arriving at a destination, players will need to use equipment, which includes a central station, amplifier antenna, solar panel, weather station, active seismometer, GTR, Goo observation and ion detector. This equipment needs to be left in place for a period of time to fully collect scientific data and transmit it to Kerbin. The active seismometer, in particular, requires the player to throw objects at the celestial body to collect seismic data! Surface formations: a big new feature in Breaking Ground is found in the celestial bodies spread across the solar system. Meteors, craters, rock outcrops, cryovolcanoes and other features can now be found. Small formations can be transported to the KSC by the kerbals, but large ones are a greater challenge and will require the kerbals to venture out in rovers or send unmanned rovers. By adding the new robotic arm to the rover, the player can scan larger formations to collect important scientific data. Robotic Parts: The much-requested robotic parts will now be available for use in KSP! Articulation, piston, rotor and rotating servomotor of various sizes will offer players new challenges and increase the creativity of their ships. Complementing the new parts, we added a robotic control system that allows you to coordinate the behavior of all the different parts of the ship. A new outfit: of course, the Kerbals' style has not been left aside. With Breaking Ground, players will receive a new outfit with a futuristic look that matches the expansion's scientific focus.
