In KILLING FLOOR 2, players are taken to continental Europe, where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech's failed experiment spread quickly until it became unstoppable, to the point of paralyzing the European Union. A month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, clones of the specimens are everywhere and civilization is in total disarray — communications are down, governments have fallen, and military forces have been eradicated. Europeans know survival and self-preservation well, and some lucky survivors managed to hide. But not everyone lost hope... A group of civilians and mercenaries came together to combat the outbreak and establish private operational bases across Europe. By tracking outbreaks of clone specimens, players will reach Zed-infested areas to exterminate them. KEY FEATURES:• Blood and Guts – KILLING FLOOR 2 enhances the effects of blood and guts with an advanced persistent blood system designed to elevate the level of fidelity to the genre. Players will see entrails, torn limbs and blood flying as they eliminate hordes of enemies. But you have to be careful! If caught, enemies will maim players and their party, piece by piece.• Six-player co-op or solo—a wide variety of playable characters await players as they join the fray online in co-op or solo for those who want to face the horrible specimens alone• PvP survival game modes – be a zed! A 12-player PvP game mode in which two teams alternate between humans and zeds in two short matches. In the first match, a team plays with the humans and the other zeds until the humans die in a round or until they beat the boss. In the second match, the teams switch sides and, when the battle is over for both teams, they receive a score based on their performance and whoever scores the most points wins!• Terrible Zeds – New enemies and fan favorites from the original game are back returns with expanded artificial intelligence, delivering powerful attacks, working as a team to weaken the player's party, which raises the level of challenge and fear • Unique Weapon Set – Modern military assault rifles, brutal improvised weapons, classic historical weapons and wacky “Mad Scientist” weapons; KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique combination of lethal tools to satisfy any player• Expanded Class System – Classes from the original game have been reimagined and more options added.
