Tannenberg brings to life massive battles on the Eastern Front of World War I with 64 players vying for control of key sectors of the battlefield, each with their own strategic advantages. The war between the Russian Empire and Germany and its allies offers an invigorating experience for FPS players and history buffs alike. There are six teams, over 50 weapons, six large maps that give players tactical freedom, and a 64-player game with full AI support for you to experience epic battles anytime! Everything has been recreated with the same attention to detail as in Verdun, which was the first game in the WW1 Game Series. This historic game is set in lakes, forests, mountains and snowy plains on the Eastern Front – it was inspired by the Battle of Tannenberg in 1914, one of the main sieges in history. Players can specialize in a variety of authentic equipment and go into battle for the Russians with Frontovik and Cossack teams, for the Romanians, or entering the Central Empires to serve in an Austro-Hungarian K.u.K. team, for the German infantry or for the Bulgarians. Tannenberg has several game modes – including the exciting Maneuver mode, which reflects the nature of the war on the Eastern Front, with 64 players battling across large maps with varying objectives and conflict lines. These authentic First World War shooters allow players to choose a team in the midst of war and fight for control of the disputed front lines. We have recreated the atmosphere of the Eastern Front with the same level of precision seen in Verdun. A lot of research was done, with uniforms recreated in detail and weapons modeled according to exact references.
