With a simple, manageable and engaging economy, it offers the player a lot of freedom on how to play and who to play with. Start small and secure your path. These are dangerous times, with many opportunities, for the explorers, the brave, the cunning and the cruel. Choose the path of a mercenary who protects transport ships. The way of a pirate, preying on the weak. A bounty hunter who will settle scores for a price. An entrepreneur, starting his own business as a trader or miner. Become a tycoon with other people working for you, protect your assets by assigning escorts. The path to domination is not always straight, if you fight hard enough, smart enough, nothing will stand in your way. As your wealth grows, you upgrade your ship and buy new, more powerful ones. Eventually be able to build a fleet of combat and non-combat ships. What's a fleet without a way to tell them what to do? Void Destroyer 2 has an optimized RTS (real-time strategy) control method for controlling multiple ships and fleets. Use your fleet to capture your first base and use it as a starting base for your empire. Capture territory and wage war. As you grow, your next achievements are increasingly stronger factions. Conquering them adds your forces to your arsenal, but holding a larger territory becomes more challenging.What's unique? What is unique – a single ship is not the end, mastery of everything you can see is. Your first ship is just a step on the way to a massive fleet, from tiny fighters to capital ships. Your thirst for power doesn't have to end there, you will have bases and territories hard won by their original owners. Use them to build fleets to expand and conquer. From a tiny, easily destroyed fighter to an immortal space god! This is Void Destroyer 2. What will you – the player – be doing? Go on easy “milk runs” on your departing ship. Upgrade it and buy better ships to perform more dangerous tasks. Explore a cruel region of space. Discover various factions: hire temporary wards and start building your fleet by purchasing additional ships. Leave the fighters behind, upgrade to a cannon, then a corvette, then a frigate, and more. As your power increases, so do your opportunities.Fight from the cockpit or on the bridge of your ship and command your forces through a tactical interface.Compare yourself to trading and mining, take control of a field of asteroids and get paid for your protection or ruthless pirate demanding ransom and taking cargo. At some point, the only way to increase your strength will be by taking other people's things. Capture ships and build a fleet capable of taking a base. Owning a base expands your power even further, you can now direct your forces from there, you are no longer tied to a single ship or fleet. Use your base to build defenses, and ships – soon you'll have more than one, and after that, you'll have them all.
